Every second Saturday night, we welcome the student trios from JMI—the Jazz Music Institute. These are Brisbane’s finest emerging talents, sure to get your toes tapping. This weeks Trio is headlined by Joohan Lee.

Joohan Lee is a passionate and versatile drummer currently in his third year at the Jazz Music Institute. With over 12 years of experience behind the kit, he brings energy, musicality, and professionalism to every performance, with the ability to perform across a wide range of genres and ensemble settings.

Known for his dynamic playing, rich tonal expression, and strong musical intuition, Joohan is dedicated to elevating every group he performs with while fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere among musicians of all backgrounds.
