About The Event
Every second Saturday night, we welcome the student trios from JMI—the Jazz Music Institute. These are Brisbane’s finest emerging talents, sure to get your toes tapping. This weeks Trio is headlined by Teabo Fargo.
An ear nurtured by bebop and hard-bop, Teabo provides a night of energy, spirit and swing. To name a select few, Teabo’s piano trio will be playing the music of Clifford Brown, Cedar Walton and Thelonious Monk. Teabo will be joined by Alex Askew (bass) and Evan J. Evans (drums).
We do not take bookings for our Saturday night shows. Entry is free, but if you enjoy the show, feel free to tip the musicians. Tasty bites are available, and the bar features local and international wines, classic cocktails, fine spirits, and a deep bourbon collection worthy of New Orleans.
